Panchkula, June 8 -- In a major initiative aimed at improving urban air quality and curbing road dust pollution, the Haryana Government has partnered with leading research and planning institutions to implement a scientific framework for the paving, greening and sustainable management of urban roads across the state.

An official spokesman here today said that a Memorandum of Agreement (MoA) was signed between the CSIR-Central Road Research Institute (CSIR-CRRI) and the Government of Haryana for the project titled "Implementation of the Standard Framework for Paving and Greening of Urban Roads (Haryana State)".
