Panchkula, Sept. 11 -- Haryana Police's Special Task Force (STF) has brought 27 wanted gangsters and criminals back to India through deportation and extradition, and secured the detention of 12 more fugitives abroad, intensifying its crackdown on organised crime networks operating from foreign soil, according to a press note issued by Haryana Police headquarters on Friday.

Director General of Police Ajay Singhal said Haryana Police has been following a zero-tolerance policy against organised crime and targeting not only fugitives abroad but also their local shooters, arms suppliers, financiers, facilitators and digital networks.
