Panchkula, July 25 -- In a major push to tackle chronic air pollution in the National Capital Region (NCR), Haryana on Friday ordered a time-bound implementation of key pollution-control measures.
The measures include expansion of air quality monitoring stations, enforcement of the 'No PUCC, No Fuel' policy, action against old vehicles, a rapid scale-up of EV charging infrastructure and scientific management of construction waste and paddy stubble.
The decisions were taken at a high-level review meeting chaired jointly by Haryana Chief Minister Nayab Singh Saini and union Environment, Forest and Climate Change Minister Bhupender Yadav in Gurugram.
