Panchkula, Sept. 7 -- The Haryana government on Monday ordered a Rs 2,000 monthly risk allowance for all Palika Roll Safai Karamcharis employed by municipalities, but stipulated that workers currently on strike will be entitled to the payment only from the date they resume duty.
The risk allowance will replace the performance-linked annual incentive and take effect immediately, according to an order issued by the Urban Local Bodies Department on September 7.
The order draws a clear distinction between employees who are on duty and those participating in the strike.
