Panchkula, July 22 -- Haryana has improved emergency heart care by launching a Tele-ECG service in all 600 government health centres.
Now, patients in rural and remote areas can get specialist heart consultations within minutes during the crucial first hour after a heart attack. Dr Sumita Misra, Financial Commissioner and Additional Chief Secretary for Health, explained that this initiative is changing how cardiac emergencies are handled.
By linking Primary and Community Health Centres with cardiologists through digital technology, patients no longer need to travel far for care. They can get an ECG at their nearest government facility, and specialists interpret the results almost immediately.
