Chandigarh, Sept. 5 -- Haryana has revised a set of senior police postings barely two days after they were announced, sending IPS officer Narendra Bijarniya to an India Reserve Battalion instead of the Special Task Force and recasting the leadership of the Panipat and Palwal district police.
The latest reshuffle affects nine IPS and HPS officers. Still, the changes involving Bijarniya, Medha Bhushan and Deepti Garg stand out because they alter decisions taken in the September 3 posting exercise.
Bijarniya, until recently the Karnal Superintendent of Police, will now serve as Commandant of the 1st India Reserve Battalion at Bhondsi.
His earlier transfer had placed him in the Special Task Force. That assignment has now been replaced before...
