Panchkula, June 26 -- The Haryana Government tonight transferred and posted 16 IPS and HPS officers with immediate effect.
The changes include fresh responsibilities in the Police Headquarters, Prisons Department, Cyber Crime Wing, Police Academy, CID, State Crime Branch, Law & Order, Traffic, Telecommunications and district policing.
As part of the reshuffle, Director General of Police Ajay Singhal has been assigned the additional charge of Chairman and Managing Director, Haryana Police Housing Corporation (HPHC), relieving Alok Mittal of the responsibility.
