Panchkula, June 5 -- In a major relief for sunflower growers, Haryana Chief Minister Nayab Singh Saini on World Environment Day announced that the registration portal for farmers cultivating sunflowers will be reopened for 60 days, enabling eligible farmers to complete their registration and avail benefits under government schemes. Alongside the farmer-centric measure, the Chief Minister unveiled a series of ambitious environmental conservation, afforestation, and eco-tourism initiatives across the state.
