Panchkula, Aug. 30 -- Private hospitals empanelled under the Ayushman Bharat scheme in Haryana will suspend Ayushman services for 24 hours on September 1 to protest prolonged delays in reimbursement of claims, with the Indian Medical Association (IMA), Haryana warning that hospitals could completely withdraw services under the scheme from September 16 if the payment crisis is not resolved.
The IMA Haryana has written to the Chief Executive Officer of Ayushman Haryana seeking immediate clearance of outstanding claims, saying the delay has placed empanelled private hospitals under severe financial stress.
