Chandigarh, June 21 -- Haryana Police has earned national recognition for its efforts in leveraging technology to strengthen crime investigation and identification systems, with its Criminal Procedure Identification System (CrPIS) receiving widespread appreciation at the 26th All India Fingerprint Conference held in New Delhi on June 19 and 20.
The advanced digital platform, developed by the Haryana State Crime Records Bureau (SCRB), was acknowledged as one of the most effective models presented at the national forum. In recognition of the achievement, the National Crime Records Bureau (NCRB) awarded the Haryana SCRB a "Certificate of Excellence" for developing and implementing the CrPIS platform in record time.
