Panchkula, June 16 -- The Haryana Police have intensified its efforts to identify and verify illegal infiltrators residing in the state, with Gurugram Police launching a special verification drive in view of national security and law and order concerns. During the operation, 13 Bangladeshi nationals residing illegally in Gurugram were identified and will be deported following due legal procedures.
A team from the Crime Branch Sector-39 conducted a special checking operation based on specific intelligence inputs regarding Bangladeshi-origin persons allegedly residing illegally at construction sites and slum settlements in the city.
