Panchkula, July 1 -- In a major drive to curb vehicular pollution and enforce environmental regulations, the Haryana Police has intensified action against End-of-Life (EOL) vehicles in Gurugram, impounding 270 overage vehicles during a special enforcement campaign conducted over the past 11 days.

A Haryana Police spokesman said here today that the Gurugram Traffic Police launched the special enforcement drive from June 19 to June 29 to ensure strict compliance with government directions prohibiting the operation of End-of-Life vehicles on public roads.
