Panchkula, Aug. 9 -- Haryana Police intensified their crackdown on drug trafficking in Hisar, freezing properties and assets worth around Rs 69.32 lakh in a narcotics case and arresting a man with 6.680 grams of heroin, a police spokesperson said on Sunday.

The asset-freezing action was taken by Hisar Police under the directions of Superintendent of Police Siddhant Jain, IPS, to target the alleged proceeds and financial network linked to drug trafficking.

The competent authority has confirmed the freezing of the properties and assets under the provisions of the Narcotic Drugs and Psychotropic Substances (NDPS) Act.
