Panchkula, Oct. 9 -- Haryana Police has successfully traced two missing children in separate operations, locating a 10-year-old schoolgirl in Gurugram within three hours of receiving a complaint and tracing a 15-year-old boy in Panipat after a 10-day search involving footage from more than 50 CCTV cameras.

The two cases, resolved on October 8, saw police teams use surveillance footage, technical analysis and field investigations to track down the children and reunite them with their families.

A Haryana Police spokesman said the operations demonstrated the importance of immediate police intervention and technology-assisted investigations in cases involving missing minors.
