Panchkula, June 24 -- Reinforcing its focus on national security and law and order, Haryana Police has launched a statewide verification drive to identify foreign nationals living illegally, under which Gurugram Police has detected 13 Bangladeshi nationals allegedly residing without valid documents, officials said today.
All identified individuals will be deported following due legal procedure.
Under the supervision of Deputy Commissioner of Police (Crime), Gurugram, Hitesh Yadav, a team of Crime Branch Sector-39 conducted a special verification operation based on specific intelligence inputs regarding Bangladeshi-origin persons allegedly residing illegally at construction sites and slum settlements in Gurugram.
