Chandigarh/Sirsa, July 10 -- In a major crackdown on the illegal trade of pharmaceutical narcotics, the Haryana Police seized 3.06 lakh Tapentadol tablets valued at approximately Rs 75 lakh and arrested two people after intercepting a parcel-laden pickup vehicle in Sirsa.
The narcotic consignment had allegedly been transported from Bathinda, Punjab, through a parcel service in an attempt to evade law enforcement.
A Haryana Police spokesperson said the seizure was made as part of the state's ongoing campaign against drug trafficking and organised narcotics networks.
