Panchkula, July 6 -- In a major crackdown on alleged immoral trafficking, Haryana Police has busted a suspected sex trafficking racket operating from two hotels in Hisar, rescuing 18 women and arresting the owner of A to Z Hotel and the manager of Hotel Balish.
Cases have been registered against the two establishments under the relevant provisions of the law.
According to a Haryana Police spokesperson, the operation was carried out under the district's zero-tolerance policy against prostitution and other immoral activities. Acting on the directions of the Superintendent of Police, a police team led by DSP Women Safety Priya Sharma conducted simultaneous raids at Hotel Balish and A to Z Hotel in the Urban Estate area.
