Panchkula, July 6 -- Haryana Police have arrested three persons in connection with the sensational double murder case reported from Sector 19, Panchkula, in which two men were killed following an alleged long-standing personal rivalry. The accused have been remanded to two days' police custody as investigators intensify efforts to arrest other absconding suspects and recover the weapons and vehicles used in the crime.
A Haryana Police spokesperson said the swift action was taken by the Sector 19 Police Post team following the incident. Preliminary investigation indicates that the murders were the outcome of an old dispute between the deceased, who were related by marriage.
