Panchkula, Sept. 6 -- Haryana Police have arrested a 33-year-old man following a woman's complaint alleging harassment, obscene gestures and indecent acts in Hisar, a Haryana Police spokesperson said on Sunday.
The accused was arrested by Sadar Hisar Police after the woman submitted a written complaint at a police post on September 4.
According to the complaint, the accused, identified as Amit alias Modhu, allegedly made obscene and inappropriate gestures towards the woman at around 1.30 pm, removed his clothes and abused her. The woman also alleged that he had engaged in similar behaviour earlier.
Acting on the complaint, Sadar Hisar Police registered FIR No. 542/2026 under relevant provisions of law and launched an investigation.
