Panchkula, June 16 -- The Haryana Police has arrested a Delhi-based man in connection with an online share trading fraud case in which a Panchkula resident was allegedly cheated of Rs 4 lakh after being lured with promises of high returns on stock market investments.

The accused, identified as Kamal Kumar, a resident of Uttam Nagar in New Delhi, was arrested by the Cyber Crime Police Station, Panchkula.

Police said the accused was produced before a court on June 13 and was taken on three-day police remand for questioning.

Following interrogation, he has been sent to judicial custody.
