Panchkula, Sept. 9 -- Haryana Police has arrested 42 accused allegedly involved in different types of cyber fraud during a week-long drive conducted by cyber crime teams in Gurugram, a Haryana Police spokesman said on Tuesday.

The arrests were made between August 31 and September 6 as the Haryana Police intensified its action against cybercriminals and online fraudsters operating across different states.

According to the Haryana Police spokesman, the operation was carried out under the guidance of Gaurav Phogat, Assistant Commissioner of Police (Cyber Crime), Gurugram.

The cybercrime teams have been conducting sustained, technology-driven investigations to identify and take legal action against individuals involved in cyber offences.
