Panchkula, June 18 -- Haryana Police have apprehended a Delhi resident for allegedly driving a Thar SUV in a rash and negligent manner on the Sohna-Gurugram Road, endangering the lives of commuters, after a video of the incident went viral on social media.
According to Police, a viral video that came to the notice of Police Station Sadar, Gurugram, on June 17 showed a Thar driver speeding on the busy Sohna-Gurugram Road and overtaking other vehicles recklessly, posing a serious threat to public safety.
Taking cognizance of the video, police registered a case under relevant provisions of law for rash and negligent driving.
