Chandigarh, Aug. 7 -- Thousands of government job aspirants in Haryana may no longer have to wait indefinitely for recruitment announcements, with Chief Minister Nayab Singh Saini today saying the state was preparing the first annual recruitment calendar for the Haryana Staff Selection Commission (HSSC) to put the entire hiring process on a fixed timeline.
The proposed calendar, once notified, will spell out when vacancies are likely to be advertised, applications invited, examinations conducted, results declared and appointments issued. The government believes the move will bring greater certainty to a recruitment system that has often drawn criticism over delays and unpredictable schedules.
