Panchkula, July 30 -- To enhance child protection and address human trafficking, the Haryana Government has instructed all police stations to register an FIR immediately upon receiving information about any missing person, especially children.
This must be done without waiting for a preliminary inquiry or a 24-hour period. The order aligns with recent Supreme Court directions on child protection, safety, missing and abducted children, and POCSO matters.
