Panchkula, July 19 -- The Haryana government has operationalised a comprehensive incentive framework to develop the state as a hub for environmentally sustainable vehicle recycling, with the Industries and Commerce Department notifying five implementation schemes under the Haryana Registered Vehicle Scrappage & Recycling Facility (RVSF) Incentive Policy.

The schemes, notified, cover capital investment, tax incentives, infrastructure development, and skill creation and are aimed at promoting scientific scrapping and recycling of End-of-Life Vehicles (ELVs), formalising the largely unorganised recycling sector, attracting private investment, and generating employment across the state, officials said.
