Panchkula, June 14 -- Marking World Blood Donor Day, the Haryana Prisons Department organised blood donation camps across various jails in the state, with prison officers, staff members, their family members and representatives of social organisations participating enthusiastically in the humanitarian initiative.
A total of 525 units of blood were collected during the camps. Similar blood donation drives will also be held in prisons across the state on Sunday.
