Panchkula, July 1 -- In a significant move aimed at strengthening transparency and reducing the need for citizens to file Right to Information (RTI) applications, the Haryana State Information Commission has directed all government departments in the state to proactively disclose information mandated under Section 4 of the Right to Information Act, 2005 on their official websites and ensure that such information is regularly updated.
The Commission has also ordered that a copy of its directions be forwarded to the Chief Secretary, Haryana, for dissemination to all Administrative Secretaries and Heads of Departments for strict compliance.
