Chandigarh, March 21 -- In a major push towards modernizing land administration and grassroots governance, the Haryana government has approved the procurement of 4,156 high-end smart tablets for Patwaris and Kanungos across the state.
This digital reform initiative, cleared by Chief Minister Nayab Singh Saini and Revenue Minister Vipul Goel, aims to transition traditional field operations into a more transparent, efficient, and paperless system.
The move is expected to significantly reduce procedural delays and enhance the delivery of essential revenue services to citizens, particularly in rural and agricultural sectors.
