Panchkula, June 18 -- The Haryana government will expand breast cancer screening facilities across the state by installing advanced mammography machines in eight district hospitals, a move aimed at improving early detection for women in semi-urban and rural areas, officials said on Wednesday.
The initiative, being implemented under the state's flagship 'Swasth Nari-Sashakt Parivar' Clinics programme, is expected to reduce the need for patients to travel long distances for diagnostic tests and strengthen early cancer detection services.
