Panchkula, Sept. 11 -- Former Panchkula Mayor Kulbhushan Goyal welcomed the Haryana government's decision to increase the honorarium and allowances for rural sanitation workers and to enhance social security, stating that these measures will benefit those who maintain cleanliness in villages.
Goyal congratulated rural sanitation workers and thanked Chief Minister Nayab Singh Saini and the state government for addressing several of their service-related demands.
"Rural sanitation workers are the backbone of village cleanliness. The government's decisions, which consider their financial interests and social security, are commendable," Goyal said in a statement.
