Panchkula, June 28 -- In a significant relief for retired Haryana government employees, the State Government has simplified the process for revising pensions of employees who retired before the Haryana Civil Services (Pension) Rules, 2016 came into force and have already been granted the benefit of one notional increment for pension purposes.
The Finance Department has issued a general relaxation under Rules 6.24(4) and 6.24(7) of the Punjab Civil Services Rules, Volume-II, enabling eligible pension revision cases to be processed without seeking separate case-by-case approval from the Finance Department. The move is expected to reduce procedural delays and ensure uniform implementation across all government departments.
