Panchkula, Sept. 1 -- Haryana's district courts had 15,53,803 cases pending as on June 30, 2026, with Gurugram accounting for the highest pendency at 3,06,827 cases, according to an official reply placed before the Haryana Assembly.
The figures are part of the government's response to a question seeking district-wise details of pending cases in the state's district courts as on June 30, 2026, along with information on the sanctioned and working strength of judicial officers and availability of court infrastructure.
Of the total pendency, 2,63,554 cases were pending in the courts of District and Additional District Judges (DJ/ADJ), while 12,90,249 cases were pending in the courts of Civil Judges. The two categories together account for the...
