Chandigarh, Feb. 7 -- union Minister for Fisheries, Animal Husbandry, and Dairying, Rajiv Ranjan Singh, on Saturday lauded Haryana's pivotal role in India's dairy sector, noting that the state alone accounts for 36 per cent of the country's total milk output. Speaking as the chief guest on the second day of the 41st State-Level Livestock Exhibition in Kurukshetra, the Minister, popularly known as Lalan Singh, emphasised that Haryana's cattle breeds have achieved global acclaim for their superior quality.
