Panchkula, June 17 -- Haryana Chief Minister Nayab Singh Saini on Wednesday inaugurated a new aircraft hangar, Air Traffic Control (ATC) building, security outpost and canteen at the Bhiwani airstrip, describing the development as a major step toward strengthening aviation infrastructure in western Haryana.
Speaking at the inauguration, Saini said the infrastructure, built at a cost of nearly Rs 31 crore, would strengthen aviation training, aircraft maintenance and flight operations in the region.
"This is not merely the inauguration of a building but a commitment to giving western Haryana a new place on India's aviation landscape," he said.
