Chandigarh, April 2 -- Haryana Chief Minister Nayab Singh Saini held a high-level meeting with a delegation of commission agents (Artiyas) from Punjab at his official residence, Sant Kabir Kutir, to discuss growing concerns regarding crop procurement and the economic welfare of the farming community.

During the interaction, the delegation highlighted the distress caused by the current Punjab government's policies, noting that approximately 40,000 commission agents, 1.25 lakh accountants (Munims), and nearly 7 lakh laborers are facing an uncertain future due to systemic inefficiencies in the neighboring state.
