Chandigarh, March 30 -- Haryana Chief Minister Nayab Singh Saini has issued a series of directives aimed at overhauling the state's water management and urban sanitation infrastructure. During a high-level review meeting with officials from the Urban Local Bodies Department at the Secretariat on Monday, the Chief Minister emphasised the urgent need to identify strategic locations for installation of water harvesting systems across the state.
He stressed that proactive measures must be taken ahead of the monsoon season to mitigate waterlogging issues and ensure the efficient conservation of rainwater.
