Panchkula, June 13 -- Launching a sharp political attack on the Congress while projecting the Narendra Modi government's achievements over the past 12 years, Haryana Chief Minister Nayab Singh Saini on Friday said the country had witnessed a decisive shift from "policy paralysis to performance-driven governance" and asserted that India is now on course to becoming a developed nation by 2047.

Addressing a press conference in Panchkula to mark 12 years of the Modi government at the Centre, Saini said the Congress, despite ruling the country for nearly 55 years, failed to build a strong and self-reliant India and instead misled people through politics of appeasement and false promises.
