Chandigarh, Aug. 13 -- The Haryana Directorate of Town and Country Planning (DTCP) has cancelled the licence of Ocean Seven Buildtech Pvt. Ltd. for a 7.5-acre affordable group housing project in Sector 109, Gurugram, citing expiry of the licence, non-execution of the project and failure to comply with prescribed requirements despite repeated opportunities.
The licence, issued as Licence No. 06 of 2016 on June 16, 2016, was granted under the Haryana Affordable Housing Policy, 2013 for land in the revenue estate of Babupur village. The licence expired on June 15, 2021 and was not renewed.
The cancellation order said inspections had found no substantial construction at the site. The developer also had outstanding external development charges...
