Chandigarh, July 14 -- As climate change fuels erratic weather, rising temperatures and growing environmental concerns, the Haryana government has announced a Rs 100-crore Green Climate Resilience Fund, marking its biggest financial commitment yet towards climate adaptation and environmental protection.
Alongside the fund, the state has set an ambitious target of planting 2.10 crore saplings this monsoon under the Prime Minister's 'Ek Ped Maa Ke Naam' campaign, with another 20 lakh saplings to be planted under the CAMPA scheme.
