Chandigarh, July 10 -- In a major initiative aimed at strengthening governance and improving the functioning of government schools, the Haryana School Education Department has assigned Additional Deputy Commissioners (ADCs) in every district the responsibility of acting as nodal officers for monitoring and supervising government schools.

The move is intended to ensure better coordination, timely execution of development works and enhanced accountability in the state's education system.
