Panchkula, July 12 -- The Haryana Archives Department has launched a public outreach campaign, urging citizens to donate historically significant documents, manuscripts, maps, photographs and other archival records to help preserve the state's rich heritage for future generations. The department said that archives are valuable sources of administrative, political, economic, social, religious and cultural history.
Preserving such records enables researchers, students and future generations to better understand Haryana's historical development.
