Panchkula, June 3 -- Continuing its drive against corruption, the Haryana State Vigilance and Anti-Corruption Bureau (SV&ACB) has arrested a peon and a driver of the Excise and Taxation Department in Fatehabad while allegedly accepting a bribe of Rs 50,000.
The Bureau has also registered a case against an Excise and Taxation Officer (ETO), whose role in the matter is under investigation.
An FIR dated June 2, has been registered at Police Station SV&ACB, Hisar, under Section 7 of the Prevention of Corruption Act.
