Chandigarh, Oct. 29 -- A male supervisor has been suspended at Maharshi Dayanand University (MDU), Rohtak, following allegations that he forced female sanitation workers to provide proof of their menstrual cycle after they reported late for duty. The accused supervisor allegedly made indecent remarks and instructed another woman staff member to take photographs of sanitary pads as proof.
According to the complaint, four female sanitation workers were confronted by supervisors Vinod Kumar and Vithender Kumar on October 26 for arriving late.
