Hisar, Oct. 8 -- Hisar Police have recovered the entire Rs 2 lakh lost by a cyber fraud victim after investigators promptly contacted the bank and secured a hold on the defrauded funds, preventing their further transfer, officials said on Thursday.
The amount was credited back to the victim's bank account on Thursday, following a technical investigation conducted by the Cyber Crime Police Station in Hisar.
According to a police official, the victim had lodged a complaint alleging that unidentified cyber fraudsters had cheated him of Rs 2 lakh.
