Gurugram, July 19 -- Continuing its crackdown on narcotics trafficking, Haryana Police has arrested an alleged drug peddler with 2 kg and 76 grams of illegal ganja in Gurugram.
Preliminary investigation has revealed that the accused had allegedly procured the contraband from Delhi and intended to sell it in small quantities in the city.
Sharing the details, a Haryana Police spokesman said that on July 18, a team of the Anti-Narcotics Cell (Sikanderpur), Gurugram, acting on specific intelligence, apprehended a suspect near Sector-31 Market, Gurugram.
The accused was identified as Manohar, a resident of Indira Gandhi Camp, South Delhi. During the search, the police recovered 2 kg and 76 grams of illegal ganja from his possession.
