Panchkula, Oct. 13 -- The Panchkula administration has initiated plans to transform the Youth Hostel into a multipurpose youth hub offering skill development, career guidance and sports facilities, with Additional Deputy Commissioner Vivek Arya today directing officials to prepare renovation estimates and verify the hostel's land and financial records.
Chairing a meeting of the Youth Hostel Management Committee at the Mini Secretariat, Arya directed the committee to submit all relevant records without delay to ensure transparency in the proposed redevelopment.
The meeting reviewed the hostel's management, infrastructure, renovation requirements, land documents and financial records.
