Panchkula, July 16 -- Farmers in Haryana's Panchkula district will be eligible for a 50 per cent subsidy on the purchase of crop residue management (CRM) machines under the Crop Residue Management (CRM) component of the Rashtriya Krishi Vikas Yojana (RKVY) for the 2026-27 financial year.

The initiative aims to encourage scientific management of crop residues, reduce stubble burning and promote sustainable agricultural practices through farm mechanisation.

Assistant Agricultural Engineer, Panchkula, Om Prakash Mahiwal, appealed to farmers to submit their applications online through the Agriculture Department's portal within the stipulated time to avail themselves of the scheme's benefits.
