Panchkula, Oct. 12 -- Devotees donated Rs 25.10 lakh at three prominent temples in Haryana on the first day of the Ashwin Navratri fair today, with the Shri Mata Mansa Devi Temple in Panchkula accounting for the bulk of the offerings.
According to official figures, a total of 62,200 devotees visited the Shri Mata Mansa Devi Temple, Shri Kali Mata Temple in Kalka and Chandi Mata Temple on the opening day of the fair.
Of these, 47,000 devotees visited the Shri Mata Mansa Devi Temple, 12,000 visited the Shri Kali Mata Temple in Kalka and 3,200 offered prayers at the Chandi Mata Temple.
