Sonipat, Oct. 28 -- The National Statistical Office (NSO), under the union Ministry of Statistics and Programme Implementation, is conducting socio-economic surveys across selected areas of Sonipat and other Haryana districts this month to support policy formulation and development planning.
Deputy Commissioner Neha Singh today said the surveys cover household income, employment, household debt and investment, the economic condition of agricultural households, unincorporated enterprises and migration.
In Sonipat district, Asawarpur has been selected for the National Household Income Survey (NHIS-2026). The Periodic Labour Force Survey (PLFS) will cover Rollad Latifpur, Madina in Gohana and Sector 15, Sonipat.
