Kaithal, June 2 -- Acting swiftly in the case of murder of a labourer, the Police Station Pundri arrested the accused Umesh Das, a resident of Bihar, from village Pai.

Giving information, the police spokesperson said that according to the complaint of Rakesh, a resident of Bihar, he was working in sugarcane binding in village Bhana for the last 15-20 days along with Umesh Das and Kameshwar Das of his village and all three were living in the tubewell room built in the field.

According to the complainant, around 9 p.m. on May 31, an argument broke out between Umesh Das and Kameshwar Das over money and a diary. He tried to calm them down and started cooking, but the dispute escalated.
